Eat the Children is about solving real-world problems with absurd solutions. Plenty of things that we take for granted nowadays were probably thought of as a bit strange when they were invented: drinking cow’s milk, using yeast to bake bread, vaccinations, quantum mechanics, etc. All really useful stuff. Maybe I’ll save the world. More likely I’ll just write about making spiders glow in the dark.
The title is, of course, a reference to A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift. I do not, in fact, want to eat your children. Children taste gross.
